YOUR JOURNEY TO THE DOURO

We recommend arriving at Porto Airport (OPO) by 5 November and staying overnight in Porto.

 

Please provide your flight details, arrival time in Porto using the Participant Information Form if you have not already.

 

Optional Dinner in Porto — Not Included

If you arrive on 5 November, you are warmly invited to join us for an optional dinner in Porto before our journey begins.

 

The dinner is not included, and each guest will settle their own bill. Please let Rica know in advance so she can include you in the reservation.

 

Travelling to the Douro — Included

On 6 November, we will meet at São Bento Station and take the scenic train journey to Pinhão together.

 

Your group train ticket and transfer from Pinhão are included. Our meeting time will be shared closer to the experience.

 

If you cannot travel with the group, please book your train from Porto to Pinhão through the official CP – Comboios de Portugal app or at cp.pt. Please send us your train number and arrival time so we can meet you at Pinhão Station.

 

Returning to Porto — Included

On 10 November, we aim to bring everyone to Pinhão Station in the early afternoon for the train journey back to Porto—and our farewells.

 

Your return train fare is included. We recommend booking an evening flight or staying one more night in Porto.
