The Douro is the world’s oldest demarcated wine region. Its remarkable terraced landscape, shaped by generations of wine-growing families, is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Optional Quinta do Seixo Visit — Not Included
On our final day, you are welcome to join us for an optional vineyard tour and wine tasting at Quinta do Seixo, the home of Sandeman in the Douro.
Sandeman has more than two centuries of Port wine history. Sogrape—the company behind Sandeman—is also the buyer of the grapes grown at Quinta da Marfenja, making this visit especially meaningful to our story.
The tour and tasting are not included and must be booked and paid for individually in advance. Please let us know if you would like to join, and we will be happy to assist with the reservation.
